Clinic Information

Lattimore of Geneseo was the first Livingston County clinic that was originally opened on Main Street in 1994. It has since moved from that location to our new building on 4577 Morgan View Rd just up the street from ALDI across from Morgan Estates. The facility encompasses nearly 4,00 square feet of open gym space & private treatment rooms.

The gym houses a full circuit of Cybex/Hoist training equipment, free weights & bench, and a wide variety of cardio equipment including: treadmills, ellipticals, row machine, and stair stepper. Adjacent to the gym area are 2 private treatment rooms. Each patient will receive a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of their condition/pain by an experienced Physical Therapist.

The evaluation begins with a complete history of your injury/condition/pain and related functional deficits. Evaluation may include Range of Motion analysis, Manual Muscle testing, or Mckenzie diagnosis of the spine. Once a Physical Therapy diagnosis is made a personalized plan of care is formulated & set into motion. Patients will receive a written home exercise program with detailed follow up instructions.

Our therapists utilize a wide variety of manual skills, patient education, therapeutic exercise, and healing modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.

Meet our Staff

Johanna Kaufmann, PT, DPT Clinical Director	Johanna graduated from Nazareth College with her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2010. She continues to be involved in academics as she serves as a professor for Nazareth College's Physical Therapy program. Johanna has been part of the Lattimore family since June of 2010. She has been leading the team at Lattimore of Geneseo since April of 2011 and looks forward to building a relationship with the community & helping patients "feel good again". Johanna lives with her husband Keith in the Rochester area.
Katie Smith, PT, DPT Staff Physical Therapist	Katie has recently returned home to the Rochester area after spending the last 7 years in Virginia. She graduated from the University of Buffalo in 2005 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She spent the first part of her career specializing in neurological injuries before transitioning to include orthopedics & sports rehabilitation. Katie was able to travel the country for a year working as a traveling Physical Therapist gaining experience in a variety of settings. She has attended several continuing education courses emphasizing manual therapy and is working towards becoming a Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). She spends her free time enjoying family, friends, and the outdoors with her husband & dog.
Anne Bastine, PTA Staff Physical Therapist Assistant	Anne has worked with the Lattimore Physical Therapy group since July of 2010. She graduated from Genesee Community College in 2010 with her Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. She has attended several courses to advance her skills and is especially in manual therapy. She lives in Wayland with her husband and 2 dogs.
Courtney Marquart, MSPT Staff Physical Therapist	Courtney graduated with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 2001. She has been practicing for over 10 years in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She has also received further training in Myofacial Release techniques & Vestibular Rehabilitation. She has a special interest in treating pediatrics & cervical spine injuries. She currently resides in Warsaw with her husband and 2 small children
Mario Melidona, PT Co-owner, Staff Physical Therapist	Mario is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo where he doubled majored in Physical Therapy and exercise science earning a Bachelors Degree. He has over 18 years experience as a physical therapist treating in orthopedics. His credentials include Mckenzie Certification for treatment of spinal disorders, as well as being a certified personal trainer. After graduation he worked in a sports medicine clinic and then went onto the Netherlands for post graduate studies in manual therapy where he refined his skills as a manual therapist. After coming back to the U.S he worked Texas as a supervisor of an outpatient clinic where he treated athletes and other orthopedic patients. Upon returning to the Rochester area he and his associates opened Lattimore of Geneseo Physical Therapy in 1994. In the past 7 years they added the Dansville Physical Therapy clinic & Avon Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation. Mario & his wife Michel who is also a Physical Therapist have 4 children. They currently have residence in Rochester.
Jen Foote Front Desk Administrative Assistant	Jen has been with the Lattimore Physical Therapy group since 2009. She graduated from Alfred State College in 2008 with her Associates degree in Liberal Arts. She is responsible for all the front desk operations including scheduling patients, checking insurance benefits and billing. She currently resides in Canisteo with her puppy Romeo.
Tara Scott Front Desk Administrative Assistant	Before joining Lattimore in September of 2011, Tara had been a medical secretary with Strong Memorial Hospital for 8 years. Tara is a 2002 graduate of Niagara University and a 2012 graduate of Margaret Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester. She is responsible for front desk operations including scheduling patients, checking insurance, benefits & billing. She lives in Avon with her husband Bryan, and son Henry.
