Rush Henrietta Physical Therapy opened it's doors in January 2010.  It is conveniently located off West Henrietta Rd at Thruway Park Dr across from Erie Station Village.  It is equipped with a various cardio & strength training equipment to help with you rehab needs.  Treatment in our facility is individually based and will be tailored to each patient's specific abilities and comfort.   It may include modalities to help decrease pain & inflammation, such as heat, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and ice. Manual techniques are also utilized to help speed along the recovery process such as massage, joint mobilizations/manipulations, stretching of tight muscles/tissue.  Exercise and activities are also used in the clinic to increase strength & flexibility.   A home exercise program is used in addition to clinic therapy & is essential to your recovery.  Our goal is to help you become pain-free and independent in maintaining a healthy body.  Most of our appointments can be scheduled within 24 hours.

Karen Shufelt PT, DPT, CHT
Clinical Director 
 
 

Karen received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 2004 & became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2007.  She has been working in an orthopedic setting since 2001, treating a variety of conditions including neck/back pain, fractures, shoulder pain, post operative procedures including carpal tunnel release, rotator cuff repairs, arthoscopic knee & shoulder surgeries, and balance & gait issues.  
 
In addition to her hand certification Karen has experience in custom made/prefabricated splinting for the hand & upper extremity.  
 
Karen lives with her family in Irondequoit and enjoys reading, yoga, exercising, and being with her family.
Bethany Delany, PT, DPT

Bethany graduated from the DPT program in 2011 from the University of Buffalo.  She has been working for Lattimore Physical Therapy since 2011, working with a variety of orthopedic populations.  Bethany has been trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization techniques, utilizing a stainless-steel tool to mobilize muscular adhesions & fascial restrictions.  She plans on expanding her manual skills PT skills in the future through completing certifications and further credentialing.

Angie has been a medical secretary for the past 7 years. She enjoys being a part of the Lattimore family working at the Rush Henrietta location.  She greets each patient warmly with a big smile and looks forward to helping them with their needs.  She believes the biggest reward is being able to observe patients progress to a successful recovery.
 
Angie likes to in her spare time shop, read a good book and spend time with her family and friends.  Angie lives in Farmington with her husband Tommy.
