Clinic Information Hours of Operation
Rush Henrietta Physical Therapy is one of Lattimore Monday 9:30am to 6:00pm
newest locations opening in January 2010. It is Tuesday 7am to 3:30pm
conveniently located off West Henrietta Rd at Thruway Wednesday 9:30am to 6:00pm
Park Drive. It is equipped with various cardio and Thursday 9:30am to 6:00pm
strengthening equipment for your rehab needs. Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Treatment is individually based, and will be tailored to Saturday Closed
each patient's specific abilities and comfort. It may include Sunday Closed
modalities to help decrease pain and inflammation, such as
heat, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or ice. Manual
procedures are usually helpful, such as massage, joint
mobilizations, or 1:1 stretching of tight muscles. Therapeutic
exercise and activities are also used in the clinic to improve
strength and flexibility. A home exercise program is used as
an adjunct to in clinic therapy and is essential to your recovery.
If you are in pain or need your balance or gait analyzed, we will
be happy to assist you. Most initial evaluations can be scheduled
within 24 hours. Our goal is to help you become pain free and
independent in maintaining a healthy body.

Meet Our Staff
Karen Shufelt, DPT, CHT
Clinical Director of Rush Henrietta Physical Therapy
Karen received her doctorate from Daemen College in 2004, and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2007. She has been working in orthopedic rehabilitation since 2001, treating conditions including neck pain, back pain, fractures, shoulder pain, operative procedures including carpal tunnel release, rotator cuff repairs, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeries, and balance and gait issuesKaren also has experience in custom made and prefabricated splinting for operative/non-operative procedures of the upper extremity. Karen currently lives in Irondequoit with her family, enjoys yoga, walking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Front Desk Administrative Assistant for Rush Henrietta Physical Therapy
Angie has been a medical secretary for the past 6 years. She enjoys working at the Lattimore's Rush Henrietta locations where she warmly greets everyone with a big smile and looks forward to helping patients with all their needs. She believes the biggest reward to working in a physical therapy office is seeing each patient's progress towards a successful recovery.In her spare time, she likes to go shopping, read a good book and spend time with her family and friends. Angie currently resides in Farmington with her husband Tommy.
