We’ve referenced the Lattimore Way in the last several articles but what exactly does that mean?

Lattimore is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year and is on the verge of opening its’ 21st clinic (Lattimore PT of Victor coming your way July 10th!). While we’ve grown rapidly, the most significant thing we’ve tried to maintain is a hometown feel. We want each clinic to individually serve the community that it is located in and we never want to feel like a big healthcare system. We strive to provide exceptional clinical care and treat each and every patient as if they are our own family, because in a way they are. By choosing us for your physical therapy you aren’t just choosing a PT provider, you’re joining our Lattimore family and allowing us to help write your next success story.

Three people that are fantastic examples of these ideals within our company are a few of the primary Lattimore owners Matt Stoutenburg, Adam Frank, and Tim Anne. These three are unique in that each of them grew up in, and returned to open Lattimore clinics in their individual towns.

Matt Stoutenburg is the owner of Lattimore PT in Fairport. He graduated from Fairport HS in 1997, attended Nazareth College and began working for Lattimore right away. This opportunity led to another — the ability to open Lattimore Fairport in 2011. To this day he takes great pride in the Fairport community and in treating old neighbors, friends, family of friends, and teachers. Lattimore in Fairport continues to sponsor several community groups and be an active member in a number of programs.

Adam Frank injured his knee in his junior year of high school playing football for the Webster Schroeder varsity football team. As with many PTs, this injury sparked a career path in physical therapy and he knew that he wanted to not only become a physical therapist, but specifically to someday open a clinic in his hometown of Webster. His dream became a reality in January of 2010 and his clinic has grown to include not just himself but 6 other clinicians. Adam credits Lattimore PT with the family atmosphere it promotes among its employees and how this has created a successful carry over into the way Lattimore treats their patients.

“Every day the environment is warm, welcoming, and family-oriented…one of the things that I love about working in the community for the last 7 years is seeing past patients out and about and hearing how well they’re doing. That makes everyday a joyful experience knowing you’re helping people achieve their goals.” — Adam Frank

Owning a clinic in the town he grew up in was always a dream of Tim Anne’s, the owner of Lattimore PT North Greece. This goal not only became a reality but has blossomed into a clinic with 13 full-time employees and a brand new 10,000 sq. ft. clinic that is set to begin construction this summer just down the road from where he grew up. North Greece PT has been serving Greece, NY since 2007 under Tim, a graduate of Greece Olympia in 1996. Under his guidance, North Greece PT has made a significant impact in the community sponsoring school plays, community sport teams, volunteering their time doing a strength camp for Greece Athena basketball, and countless other ventures.

“We have it pretty good, we get to supply a service to a patient that makes them feel good again and it’s probably the most satisfying job you can have.” — Tim Anne

As you can see from the example that Matt, Adam, and Tim have set within Lattimore, the Lattimore Way is not just a slogan. The Lattimore Way is how we try to live and lead by example within our communities. We attempt to not only better the lives of our patients every day in the clinics, but also better the lives for those in our community by each clinic remaining invested in the town that they’re located. The stories of these three while unique in that they’re doing it in the town that they grew up are similar to the community involvement of many of our clinics.

While we continue to grow we want you to know that we will continue to be your hometown PT provider and that with 21 locations we are never more than minutes away from where you work or live. Check out our locations page for the Lattimore closest to you today!
